Fr. Steve Mateja is a priest of the Archdiocese of Detroit. He was ordained to the Holy Priesthood on May 26, 2012 by Archbishop Allen Vigneron. He currently serves in Macomb County MI at St. Francis-St. Maximilian in Ray Twp and St. Mary Mystical Rose in Armada.

Fr. Steve was invited by the Christian Club at a local Public School this week (Rochester Adams High School) to encourage the young people in their faith.  

He shared three scriptures and answered questions after.

Jeremiah 1:4-9 God has known you from the very beginning of your life. He loves you and calls you his own!

Luke 2:41 "Search for God in the midst of chaos"

Romans 8:31-38 "what can seperate us from the Love of Jesus Christ"
